The Ashburton Basin is located within the Capricorn Orogen in northwestern Western Australia.
The Company owns two separate copper-gold projects in this geological province. The Ashburton region has a long history of gold, copper, silver, lead and zinc exploration.
Previous exploration in the Ashburton Projects has been limited and consisted predominantly of geochemical sampling with only limited drilling. Highly anomalous copper results have been returned from surface rock chip sampling at each of the Station Creek and Mt Boggola Projects. Some encouraging drill results have also been returned from limited drilling at Station Creek and Mt Boggola. TheĀ Ashburton Basin Projects have not been explored using modern geophysics and the Company has an airborne VTEM-Max survey planned at each of the projects scheduled to commence post IPO completion.
