The Yilgarn Craton is a world class mineral province which contains two of the Company’s 100% owned projects; Ida Valley and El Donna.
Exploration to date has demonstrated extensive gold supergene mineralisation associated with zones of shearing, quartz veining and carbonate/sericite altered basalts. Diamond drilling has intersected primary gold-arsenopyrite-pyrite mineralisation structurally related to the supergene gold mineralisation.
The Ida Valley Project is located 265km north-northwest of Kalgoorlie and 90km northwest of the town of Leonora and is a new grassroots gold discovery with no past exploration in the discovery area. The Company has completed an inaugural soil auger geochemistry program over an area of higher magnetic intensity within the Project. The program is interpreted to have delineated previously unmapped mafic units coherent with magnetic highs over the Mt Ida fault. A number of coherent north-south trending gold anomalies with a peak of 884ppb have been identified and rock-chips to 6.62g/t gold which clearly warrant further investigation.
Both of the Yilgarn Craton Projects will receive comprehensive deeper RC dril testing immediately post IPO.
